Red Wines D.O. Rueda

Although the D.O. Rueda is known for its whites, it also produces interesting reds. Made mainly with Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Grenache, they tend to be young, fruity and easy to drink. They present aromas of red and black fruits, with spicy notes and hints of licorice. In the mouth they are soft, with light tannins and a pleasant finish. They are ideal to accompany tapas, white meats and pasta dishes. If you want to explore beyond the Verdejo, the Rueda reds are a good option to discover.
