Sangria is a popular drink. The preparation varies from place to place, always based on wine, fruit, soft drink, sugar and sometimes some spirits.

Ingredients

    • White wine
    • Dig
    • Sparkling or carbonated water
    • Two squeezed lemons
    • Fresh fruits: Lemons, oranges, grapes, peaches, apples, raspberries, strawberries, pears, kiwis, nectarines and blueberries.
    • Cinnamon, or Nutmeg, or sweet wine, or peach liqueur (optional)
    • Sugar to taste.

preparation
Pour the white wine into a large jug and add a little sweet wine.
Add the necessary amount of sugar and mix with a wooden spoon, the juice of the lemons, the chopped or cut fruits: apple, grape, peach, orange...
Pour in half a bottle of sparkling or sparkling water.
Add the ice and cava and leave to cool. You can put it in the fridge for a while.

Recommendations
If the wine chosen to make the sangria is semi-dry and you also add a little nutmeg, do not add sugar, it could be too sweet.

Maceration: Leave the fruit soaked in white wine overnight. to its preparation. Thus, the wine is impregnated with the aroma of the fruit. Strain the wine well before preparing the sangria and remove the macerated fruit pieces.

Add freshly cut ripe fruit.
