Ingredients approx. for 6 people
    • 6 large, hard-fleshed pears (conference, Williams...)
    • 3 glasses of white wine
    • 2 glasses of water
    • 3 spoons of sugar
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • Lemon peel or orange peel
    • Cinnamon powder

Elaboration
Peel the pears, leaving the tail, put them in the pot. Cover with white wine and a little water, add sugar and lemon or orange peel.
We put them on the fire and when it starts to boil, turn down the heat and let it boil for about 30 minutes (depending on the type of pear, it will be more or less time) until they are soft. To know if they are cooked, poke with a knife.
We remove them and let the liquid reduce over a high heat for about 15 minutes, until we have a syrup left.
We bathe them in this syrup and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.
Serve cold.

They can be accompanied by whipped cream, forest fruit jam, a little ice cream.

Spices to flavor alternatives, it can be cinnamon or any other spice you like, such as vanilla sugar, cloves and a few sprigs of saffron.

The recipe for pears in white wine will conquer you both for its taste, for the aroma it leaves in the kitchen, and for being an alternative dessert when you have guests or as a special dessert for the family!!
