El Bufón de Arrayán is a single-varietal red Grenache wine from plots in glass located on the slopes of the Sierra de Gredos. This unique microclimate, characterized by slate soils and a considerable altitude, gives the grapes a unique mineral and aromatic expression.
Vinification is carried out in a traditional way, with a cold prefermentative maceration and a spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. Aging for 14 months in large French oak vats brings complexity and elegance to the wine, without masking the varietal characteristics.
Visually, it presents an intense cherry cherry color. On the nose, a complex and elegant aroma stands out, with notes of ripe black fruit (mulberries, cherries), spices (fennel) and flowers (orange peel).
In the mouth, it is a silky wine, with a fine and integrated tannic structure. Its minerality stands out, which gives it great persistence and a long and pleasant finish.
